Oakwood Resort is a 127 unit Resort consisting of 98 Deluxe rooms in four modern lodges. To enhance the comfort of your stay, Oakwood Resort has just completed a multi million dollar refurbishment project. 84 of 127 guest rooms and 7 Spacious suites have been completely renovated. This beautiful property's unique accommodations also include a luxurious Executive Cottage that words cannot adequately describe, 16 Standard rooms, 3 Cottages and a Cabin.

All Rooms, Suites or Cottages have either queen or king size beds and are equipped with bar size refrigerators, hairdryers, telephones, coffee makers, flat screen TV, radio alarm clock, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, fireplace and windows or patio/decks that open to the fresh breezes of Lake Huron.

Oakwood Resort is located just north of Grand Bend, Ontario on Highway 21 which makes it perfect for leisure or business purposes. The Resort is ideally suited with meeting rooms for groups up to 300, recreational facilities and choice of Fine Cuisine in the Oak Dining Room or a tasty Clubhouse Menu.

Indoor Pool: A popular place to relax, our heated pool is located in the new
Pine Lodge. Take a refreshing dip, unwind in the Hot Tub or enjoy the hot sauna. Games Room: Located on the lower level of the Clubhouse. The Oakwood Resort is conveniently accessible to a wide variety of area attractions, including the Huron Country Playhouse summer stock theatre. Just a few minutes away is the Pinery Provincial Park with 4,000 acres of woodlands and miles of sandy beach, Grand Bend Motorplex, Lambton Heritage Museum, a petting farm and horseback riding.

Drive 20 minutes north to the art shops and boutiques of Bayfield or walk into Grand Bend for shopping. Also available are rentals of bicycles, canoes, jet skis, cross-country skis, fishing and leisure boat charters and sport parachuting lessons.

Pinery Provincial Park: Early each Spring, usually in March, you can view a spectacular phenomenon when tens of thousands of Trumpeter Tundra Swans use the area as a resting stop before continuing their annual migration north to the arctic. An amazing sight not only to behold, but also to hear! Part of a unique ecosystem, the Pinery is known to host over 300 Bird & Butterfly species. The forest itself is part of the Carolinian Oak Savannah complete with informative hiking trails with some having special access for the handicapped. There's also canoeing, beaches, a visitor's centre, picnic areas, occasional slide shows and short seminars from a variety of celebrities.
