Welcome to Oatfield House, Bed and Breakfast, Campbeltown, Scotland. Oatfield House, comfortable, fully en-suite Bed and Breakfast accommodation offering warm, friendly personal attention in a country house setting, just outside Campbeltown, by the Mull of Kintyre.
Set in its own small estate less than five minutes drive from Campbeltown harbour and well away from the main road along a private drive, Oatfield House was built in 1780 for the Laird of the Achachoirk and Garvachy Estate. Completed by local sea captain, Colin McEachran (who had the good fortune to capture a French prize ship during the Napoleonic Wars), it was later substantially extended in the 1890's.
Situated in open countryside and enjoying views of Islay and Jura, it is on the very border between fertile farming land and the wilds that lead, uninterrupted, from here to the Mull of Kintyre.
A Grade 2 listed Georgian country house, Oatfield is both a family home and a welcoming Bed and Breakfast.
