Ascend the grand oak staircase and you will find eight private rooms or suites resplendent in antique furnishings. Each room is beautifully detailed in Victorian-style wall-coverings, drapes and fine bed linens. All rooms have private baths complete with antique claw foot soaking tubs, showers or both. Play a leisurely game of billiards in the garden-level game room or relax, warmed by the fire in the wood stove, and enjoy your favourite movie on the VCR. A recent addition is a huge hot tub within a gazebo (enclosed in winter for year-round enjoyment) in the south garden. There's a splendid view of the bay from the hot tub.
The aroma of fresh roast coffee announces breakfast, which is served in the formal dining room amidst unobstructed views of the harbour. The banquet-style breakfast includes juice, varied fruit dishes, cereal, egg dish, cooked breakfast meats such as European sausage or crab cakes, cheese platters, potatoes or vegetable, hot biscuits, jams, spread and a cordial topped breakfast cake.
