Welcome to The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast in Hunter Valley, Australia. Your hosts are Wendy & Tony Heat who have travelled to most parts of Australia and decided that the Hunter Valley would have to be one of the most picturesque destinations in our beautiful country. With that in mind we have purpose built The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast, a very comfortable Homestay in the lower Hunter Valley. We are excited at the possibility of you coming to join us at Old Mill Bed and Breakfast and to be able to share with you what we have here in Hunter Valley.
We are originally from Sydney's Northern Beaches after some 35 years in our respective industries we decided to take our "Seachange" and move to the beautiful Hunter Valley.
The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast is situated on a 230 acre property, nestled at the foot of the picturesque Corrabare Range, part of the Watagan State Forest and adjoining National Park. It's only ten minutes to your choice of 70 plus vineyards and restaurants.
We have three guest rooms, two kings and one queen (it's rumoured that we have the most comfortable beds in the Hunter Valley) with crisp fresh air scented linen and fluffy towels. All rooms are air conditioned, have their own en-suites and private entrances for your privacy and convenience. Guest rooms have electric blankets, hair driers, ceiling fans and ironing facilities. All the rooms have a bush outlook. Disabled access & facilities are available.
Our guest facilities include, amongst other things a very comfortable lounge area, a log fire for those chilly evenings and fresh country mornings. Tea and coffee making facilities, guest fridge, TV, CD, DVD, video facilities & also a piano. A twelve metre saltwater lap pool and an outdoor spa are also available for your use, whilst at The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast.
In the morning you can relax on the veranda, with a freshly brewed tea or coffee, seasonal fruit platter, whilst catching glimpses of the wildlife or listening to the symphony of the birds.
