Welcome to The Old Parsonage Bed and Breakfast in Boscastle, North Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. This gracious Georgian house is on the edge of the village, just a 5 minute walk across the ancient farming 'stitches' to the spectacular south west coast path and close to Boscastle harbour.
Built as a parsonage around 1800, the house has played a key role in the life of the local Boscastle community. We have enjoyed creating a relaxing, comfortable and tranquil Bed and Breakfast, and we very much hope that you will want to come and experience it for yourself.
All the rooms are spacious with en-suite and furnished in a style that is sensitive to both the history of the house and the tastes of modern life.
The five large bedrooms have high ceilings and period features, and have been individually decorated and furnished in a stylish blend of the contemporary and antique. The bathrooms, which are all ensuite, are spacious with either shower or shower and bath.
Features of the rooms include super king size beds (which can convert into twins), Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, comfortable armchairs, flat screen television and dvd player (a varied selection of dvds is available), wifi access, bathrobes, organic toiletries and hospitality tray containing ground coffee, a selection of teas, fresh milk and home-made biscuits. The ground floor room has a wood burning stove.
Wherever possible, we use locally sourced, organic and home-made produce. We also operate an honesty bar - what could be better than a cool beer after a day's walking, a glass of wine before dinner or champagne for that special occasion? For evening meals, there is a good range of restaurants and pubs in Boscastle within walking distance of The Old Parsonage, North Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
