Welcome to The Old Racecourse Hotel in Ayr, United Kingdom. The current facility is Scotland's premier horse racing venue, and plays host to the Scottish Grand National in April and the Scottish Gold Cup in September.
The Old Racecourse Hotel is convenient for over 30 fine golf courses including Old Prestwick, which initiated the first ever Open in 1860, and Royal Troon and Turnberry - both of which still host golf's premier Championship every few years. Indeed, the Championship was at Royal Troon in July 2004.
