The Old Stable stands overlooking our garden, just inland from Bude, in the friendly village of Marhamchurch. There is a pub serving good food and well stocked shop and post office two minutes walk away.

Renovated to a very high standard Th Old Stable provides a comfortable and relaxing retreat whilst retaining its original character. For the winter months there is a wood burning stove plus background heating to make it a cosy destination all year.

The Old Stable has stable door  which open onto the kitchen diner with a solid oak table and chairs and kitchen units. An open wooden screen gives a view through to the comfortable living room which has a colour TV with a built in video and dvd. A glazed door leads on to your own private walled courtyard style patio area. We have a superb barbecue which you are welcome to use. The old tack room has been converted into a small utility room with a washer dryer and a bathroom with a heated towel rail.

From the living room a staircase leads up to a small landing with two bedrooms leading off. The double room has an en suite shower room, again with a heated towel rail. The twin room has beds which can be joined together to provide a king size double bed if required. Both bedrooms have beamed ceilings and are provided with duvets and bed linen.

The Old Stable has a woodburning stove, high chair available (as well as a travel cot)
