Olya is a Siberian born designer and artist who now lives in Bridport, Dorset. Olya has created her Studio in West Bay as a showcase for the artists and cultures she has met during her travels in Eastern Europe and Asia.

Olyas Studio promotes the art of painting on silk, and offers accessories, soft furnishings, designer clothes and unique jewellery crafted from semi-precious stones and amber.

Olya organises painting on silk workshops and residential courses, including both tutorials and practical work. These are led by guest tutors of high repute in the world of batik.

Exhibitions of arts and crafts from different countries are held in Olyas Studio. Often the artists are in attendance so that visitors have the chance to meet them and watch them at work.
