Welcome to The Olympic Outdoor Center in Poulsbo, Washington, United States.

Private Tours are available for all ages, almost any time, all year round. Whether you want to learn to roll in a fiberglass single, take 50 people from your work to Blake Island in stable double kayaks, or let us take your kids on a kayak birthday party in kayaks just thier size, we can accomodate your Kayaking desires.

Join us in Liberty Bay as we kayak amongst seals, eagles, kingfishers, and other wildlife and watch the sun set. We'll have a short lesson or refresher before we head out on the water in our stable single or double kayaks.

Seafarers in the 7-10 age group - Seafarers have single kayaks just their size and do short, fun paddles near shore while learning skills such as launching, landing, paddle strokes, navigation, compass reading, on-water safety, capsize recovery, and history of the Puget Sound.

Explorers 11-13 Age group - We?ll paddle a little further & get more in-depth instruction than Seafarers, but we still have plenty of time for games and beach explorations! You?ll paddle your own kayak & learn skills such as paddle strokes, navigation, launching, landing, orienteering, on-water safety, capsize recovery, history of the Puget Sound & more.

Adventurers 13-18 Age group - Looking for more FUN and a variety of scenery and adventure? Join our Adventurers and explore surrounding areas from Liberty Bay! You'll paddle to new locations as well as make great friends, learn and practice kayak and navigation skills, and have an incredible amount of fun in the sun. Don't worry, there is plenty of time to relax, cook hot-dogs at the beach and visit with the seals. This is the next step for your young paddler on the road to becoming an experienced kayaker.
