As the name implies, On the Park Bed & Breakfast is located across the street from beautiful Audubon Park established in 1908. This 1927 bungalow has been completely renovated but kept in style with the original design. Sit and enjoy the covered front porch while viewing the park on a white wicker settee and enjoy a cup of coffee on a quiet morning. The side entrance with arbors and hanging flowers provides café- like seating. The winding path passes the flowerbeds that lead to the back patio garden. You’ll enter a private area with pergola, climbing vines, river rock, water feature, roses and flowers. Envelope yourself in Tuscan ambiance where umbrella table and Italian lights make the night special and memorable like dancing in the moonlight.
Upon entering the living room of On the Park Bed & Breakfast, you will enjoy a peek of elegant 1920’s with wood and crown moldings throughout and you’ll be surrounded by a mixture of traditional and antique furniture and décor surrounding the fireplace in the heart of the room. Guests are welcome to enjoy reading, board games or the tranquility of a fire on a cool night.
On the Park Bed & Breakfast dining room is where you will be served a scrumptious breakfast on fine china under a lit crystal chandelier. Next to the living room the Ruby Room is a spacious room that invites you into an era of top hats and fine beaded dresses. The room is equipped with a TV, VCR and air conditioner. The bathroom has 1920's fixtures, a terrazzo floor and a large soaking tub and shower.
Summers in Spokane are dry and warm, perfect for water skiing in over 80 lakes and rivers and mountain biking on green ski hills. The area's 13 ski facilities often enjoy a 5-6 month snow season, so dust off your skis and snowboards.
