The Open Door Bath, Maine USA is a privately owned bookstore located in the heart of downtown Bath. Opened in July 2000. We specialize in rare and out of print books. Open Door Bath, Maine USA has a large collection of Maine books. Other books that we carry include, Marine, Sports, Animals, Religion, Hunting, Cookbooks and so much more! We also have over 1,000 children's books! The Open Door offers book searches- we have had a very high success rate in locating those hard to find books! Appraisals by appointment. I am continuously adding new acquisitions to my on-line inventory-almost 5400 now. I'm always book scouting, although some box loads walk right in the front door. I would be glad to keep an eye out for what you seek. Since opening the doors in July 2000 I've learned a lot and love being a bookseller.
