Welcome to Maine! The Open Hearth Inn features many overnight options at reasonable rates. We are perfectly located, 8 miles to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor; convenient access to Schoodic, Southwest and Northeast Harbors, Swans Island and Frenchboro, and other shore locations.

The motel rooms are spacious and can accommodate large families (all have futon couches that can be made up).

A continental breakfast is included, with home-made muffins, fresh fruit, juice and coffee from 8-10AM in the office lobby.

The seasonal cottages (early May - end of Oct) are our most popular vacation accommodations.

The cottages are very affordable, clean, and parking is convenient beside your cottage.

All cottages have knotty-pine paneling, furnished with antique touches, and upscale linen.
