Orrest Cottage has been refurbished to give a contemporary feel and atmosphere.

To boost your appetite there is lots of fresh Lake District air and certainly plenty of local walks and many starting from just outside the front door.
Across the road is the start of the Orrest Head walk, made famous by Lakeland author Alfred Wainwright, it offers you some of the most stunning views over the Lake District fells.
We have three double en-suite bedrooms for you to choose from. Each is clean and decorated to a high standard, to make your stay as comfortable as we can.
For your added comfort there are a selection of amenities including tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV/DVD, alarm clock and a hairdryer. There is an information pack in your bedroom including a selection of leaflets showing local attractions and restaurants for you to peruse.
We also realise that you may wish or need to use your laptop whilst staying with us so we are wi-fi enabled for your convenience.
