Outgate Inn dates back to the 18th century when it was originally part of smallholding in Hawkshead, England. In 1903 it became licensed as the Outgate Mineral Water Manufacturer.
Displayed in the restaurant are several of the original bottles dating back to the early 1900?s. Many of the original features of the building have been retained keeping the old world feel.
There is a secluded and peaceful beer garden at the rear of the pub where visitors can relax on a warm summer?s day. In the winter months a real fire welcomes guests in from the cold. Parking is no problem as there is a large car park situated opposite the pub.
Situated in the centre of the beautiful English Lake District where there are numerous countryside walks, Outgate Inn is an ideal place to stay if you are taking advantage of these walks. It is a warm, dry, comfortable Lakeland Inn where you can enjoy well-kept Lakeland Ale and a home-cooked meal at the end of a day out on the Lakeland hills.

twin-bedded en-suite guest rooms. All the bedrooms have colour TV, hairdryers, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities. The televisions all have the free view satellite channels. All rooms are non-smoking.
