The Museum has received a wide variety of donations over the years, even experimental aircraft like the gyrocopter seen here. Next to it is a jet engine training aid used to help jet mechanics learn about the systems involved with modern aircraft maintenance.
Pacific Coast Air Museum has many engine displays that are opened up to show the inner workings of these modern marvels. Here is an early jet engine that was used to power fighters in the 1950s, opened up so visitors can see the magic inside.
