Welcome to Papke House, Petersburg, Alaska. We are located 11 miles south of Petersburg, Alaska just off of Mitkof Highway. Our home is on the shore of the narrowest point in Southeast Alaska’s Inside Passage. Wrangell Narrows is literally in our front yard. King Salmon and Halibut fishing begin just feet from our front door.

It’s a great location for viewing the shipping and boating action of the Alaska Marine Highway. Adjacent to our Bed and Breakfast is a State dock and boat launching ramp. A short walk in the other direction and the Tongass National Forest is in our back yard. We live amidst the largest Temperate Rain Forest in the world. It provides an abundance of life around every corner. From Muskeg to Old Growth Forest, from the Great Stikine River to the Majestic LeConte Glacier, from the Bald Eagles, Bears, Deer, Moose, Wolves, Whales, Porpoise, Seals, Sea Lions, King Crab, King Salmon, Halibut, to the mountains & streams that feed them, we have it all!

Pete and Ginger Pellerito will be your hosts during your stay at The Papke House Bed and Breakfast. Pete, originally from Tawas, MI, is a 25 year resident of Alaska. Ginger, originally from Roseburg, OR, is an eleven year resident. Both have extensive knowledge of the local area and people. They would be happy to share their experiences in Alaska with you and help you create some of your own.

At Papke House Bed and Breakfast our guest accommodations are located on the ground level of our home. The self-sufficient living quarters are completely private with a separate entrance. Your rental will consist of: two rooms, one queen and one full, two bathrooms, living area, kitchen and laundry facility.
