Paradise Holiday Resort occupies a unique elevated position commanding superb inland and distant sea views of the KwaZulu-Natal Hibiscus Coast in Southbroom.
Paradise Holiday Resort is set on a hill amongst indigenous trees, supporting an abundance of South Africa's birdlife, wildlife and beach life.
This three star-graded park has 36 grassed and shaded caravan or tent sites. All sites have electricity points, their own braai and a water tap between every 2 stands. The ablution and washing up areas are kept spotlessly clean, and are under constant supervision.
The Resort had 8 luxury log cabins and 14 Plettenberg chalets for hire. These units have been graded by the AA as ?Highly Recommended?. The units are fully equipped for self-catering, serviced and have their own braai areas. The log cabins have a DSTV point, decoders and smart cards must be brought along.
In the games room there is darts and table tennis, pool tables and a laundromat. There is a TV and a small library to pass the time while waiting for the laundry. Freezer facilities are also offered to those needing extra space. The children are well catered for with a lovely play area, trampolines, outdoor chess, volleyball court and a sparkling pool with a baby pool in addition.
There is a dry pub and a breakfast room, which can be used for golf groups or tours. We specialise in spit braai?s and cater for meals on request.
The premises are fully fenced with a security gate, and patrolling guards are on duty thought the night for our guest piece of mind.
The resort is 2.5 km from the main Marina Beach in Southbroom, which is proud to have been awarded Blue Flag Status. There are only 7 Blue Flag beaches in South Africa.
Margate is only 10km away offering a wide range of shopping experiences. There are a large variety of activities on offer in the area. The park has an abundance of bird life including the Kynsna Lourie, Golden Oriole, Malachite Kingfisher and a nesting pair of Fish Eagles. Dassies and Duiker are common visitors to the resort.
5 KwaZulu-Natal Golf courses, bowling greens and tennis courts close by. Deep-sea excursions and available. Day trips may include Oribi Gorge, Crocodile farm and many more attractions.
