The Pearl of Seneca Lake, a Bed and Breakfast, is located on Seneca Lake, in the town of Starkey near the village of Dundee, New York, in the United States. The Pearl of Seneca Lake is comprised of 13.7 acres, with 385 foot lake frontage. The property is secluded with several magnificent views of the lake and includes a 3000-foot nature trail.
The Pearl of Seneca Lake has been a dream of Peter and Mary Muller since 1982, when they purchased the property. They dreamed of providing an inn where lodging would be available and people could enjoy the quiet surroundings, experience a romantic getaway, have a quiet retreat, or enjoy the beautiful lake. The Pearl of Seneca Lake was completed in mid-May 2005, and is the realization of that dream.
Our four guest rooms each feature a queen size bed and private bath and shower, except that the Southview Room features a king size bed and two twin beds, and accommodates up to 4 people. The first-floor guest room and all the hallways and common areas are totally handicap accessible and ADA compliant. Each mini-refrigerator will be stocked with soda, juices, water, and ice. The furniture for each of the bedrooms has been made by local Mennonite craftsmen, with newly-purchased bedding. The common area features a country kitchen, dining room, and spacious living room with fireplace. The living room/dining room area can be made private with closed doors for meetings, etc.
A typical breakfast at The Pearl of Seneca Lake is served in the dining room and includes coffee, juice, fruit, a sweet or savory entrée, meat or meat substitute, and homemade muffins, scones, or sweet rolls. A homemade mid-day snack will be provided, including such items as pies, cakes, brownies, cheese & crackers, and always cookies.
