Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club in Kenai, Alaska in the United States, is a volunteer, non-profit organization established in 1974 to promote Baseball on the Kenai (Alaska) Peninsula. Along with preparing college Baseball players for a future in the major leagues, Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club provides a number of scholarships to area high school seniors to further their educational pursuits. Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club also conducts Little League clinics in the local communities of Kenai, Soldotna, Seward and Homer.
Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club in Kenai, Alaska, compete in the unified Alaska Baseball League, along with the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, the Fairbanks Goldpanners, the Mat-Su Miners, the Anchorage Bucs and Athletes in Action-Alaska. Competition is intense between the Alaska League teams, vying for two invitations to the National Baseball Congress World Series.
Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club are proud of their rich history of countless players and coaches who have gone on to professional Baseball careers, many of them in the Major Leagues. Through continued community support, the Oilers look forward to an exciting future of bringing top quality Baseball to the Kenai Peninsula.
