Welcome to the Penny School Gallery & Cafe, Maldon, Australia. The Penny School Gallery & Cafe is situated in the Former Denominational ('Penny') School, a significant early building classified by the National Trust and Heritage Victoria. Specialising in regularly changing exhibitions by some of Australia's finest artists, with all works available for purchase.
The Penny School Gallery & Cafe also features a fully licensed cafe offering seasonal menus with fresh local produce. This is an ideal venue for large or small functions.
The Art Gallery is an ideal venue for large or small functions. This fine building is set in stunning naturalistic surrounds with views beyond Maldon.
Capacity for seated functions inside rages from 60-80 guests. There is standing room for up to 150 guests. Outdoor functions in the rockery garden can accommodate 60 guests seated. Ample parking is available on-site.
The Penny School Gallery & Cafe are also custodians of the Welsh Congregational Church (decommissioned) on the corner adjacent to the Art Gallery, making this an ideal venue for wedding celebrations.
The Art Gallery is open every day 11am to 5pm and for Dinner on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
