Welcome to Penzance Tennis Club in Penzance, Cornwall in the United Kingdom.   Penzance Tennis Club has fantastic facilities including 4 artificial grass all-weather courts,  all with floodlights, 3 macadam hard courts,  one with floodlights and 1 mini tennis court.

Penzance Tennis Club also has a comfortable and spacious new club-house with cafe and bar, opening onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the courts

The Club was founded in 1947. There were 2 hard courts on the promenade, and play was on 3 evenings a week.

The first official meeting was in the spring of 1948 when a committee was elected.

Penzance Tennis Club moved to 3 courts at the Penlee Bowling Club soon after.

In 2005 all lottery work was completed, and we now have a new clubhouse, 4 artificial grass courts, 3 macadam courts, a mini tennis court and practice wall, plus 5 sets of floodlights, with all new fencing pathways, etc.

Coaching is on offer at Penzance Tennis Club for all ages and levels.  All information regarding coaching is on the noticeboard and information stand in the club.

Ladies Team training is taking place on Thursdays at 11am.   There are also Improvers Groups on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Evening sessions will take place as we get more daylight.   Invitational squads for performance players will continue throughout the year.
