Welcome to the San Pedro High School Pirate Booster Cub, San Pedro, United States. The San Pedro High School Pirate Booster Club was organized in 1958, and is believed to be the oldest high school booster Club active in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). With members from all walks of life, including parents, alumni, and teachers, it is the longest established and possibly, the best known of the "booster" organizations supporting San Pedro High School.
2008 finds SPHS Pirate Booster Club preparing to celebrate their 50th anniversary in service to San Pedro High School. Check back at this website for information about special plans and events to mark this occasion!
The San Pedro High School Pirate Booster Club is a non-profit (recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) organization), all-volunteer, fundraising organization, originally established to provide monetary and moral support to San Pedro High School Athletes (primarily football) through organized fundraising activities by the Club's first president, Mr. Matty Domancich. Since then, the Club has prospered and grown through the support of the community, and in turn, truly benefited the students of San Pedro High School. Membership dues and donations to the Club are fully tax deductible.
The Pirate Booster Club has expanded it's support to include all San Pedro High School sports, Band, Drill Team, Cheer, Short & Tall Flags, Academics, Air Force JROTC, Theater Arts and many other campus sponsored activities.
