Pirates Cave Bar & Restaurant, located in Negril on Jamaica's Westend, is so much more than just a Bar & Restaurant. This is a wonderful spot in Jamaica to spend an afternoon and evening. From jumping off of the cliffs and snorkeling during the day, to relaxing at a cliff side table for a lobster dinner (the specialty of the house) and enjoying a cool drink as the sun sets in it's most amazing way from this location.
Two famous movies were filmed on property. In the 1950's the Jules Verne classic "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" was filmed in the cave. In the 1970's the Steve McQueen classic "Papillon" was filmed on the cliffs where the star actor jumped off to make his escape from Devil's Island.
