Hant's Harbour, where Sister Lydia prayed for fish in the 1800's, has been involved in the migratory fishing industry since its beginning in the 1700's. Newfoundland and Labrador's first Crab processing plant opened here in 1967.

The Point Bed and Breakfast also offers a Gift Shop open to guests and the general public. Drop in to view the wide variety of locally made crafts, quilts and hand knit items.
