My Grandparents, Les and Era Smith built the Port & Starboard Restaurant and Lounge back in 1970. Their idea was to provide the hard working resident of this small community fresh, quality cuisine, a serene, comfortable dining atmosphere and great service at reasonable prices. Thirty-six years later, we still pride ourselves on providing you the freshest, quality entrée ingredients, house-made soups, sauces and desserts. At the Port and Starboard, we are proud to offer you â??the freshest green salads,â? and â??the best Clam Chowder on the West Coast.â?
We only purchase our Fresh Fish from our Local Fishermen and clean and filet the fish in-house and prepare them in our House-Made Sauces. In most cases, the fish is in the ocean at noon, on our Local Dock by three, filleted by five and on your plate at six.
