My Grandparents, Les and Era Smith built the Port & Starboard Restaurant and Lounge back in 1970. Their idea was to provide the hard working resident of this small community fresh, quality cuisine, a serene, comfortable dining atmosphere and great service at reasonable prices. Thirty-six years later, we still pride ourselves on providing you the freshest, quality entrée ingredients, house-made soups, sauces and desserts. At the Port and Starboard, we are proud to offer you â??the freshest green salads,â? and â??the best Clam Chowder on the West Coast.â?

We only purchase our Fresh Fish from our Local Fishermen and clean and filet the fish in-house and prepare them in our House-Made Sauces. In most cases, the fish is in the ocean at noon, on our Local Dock by three, filleted by five and on your plate at six.
