Porta Giulia Bed and Breakfast located in Mantova, Lombardy in Italy is named after Porta Giulia, one of the gates that used to give access to Mantua/Mantova arriving from the North, and so called because planned by Giulio Romano.
It belonged to the defensive structure beyond ponte dei Mulini ? the citadel -, that doesn?t exist anymore, if not in the name of the area and that of our street: Via Degli Spalti (Glacis Street).
