Welcome to Pottery Place Plus in Spokane, United States, for  the largest selection of  fine craft made locally in the Inland Northwest.   Located in the historic Liberty Building in Spokane,  the Pottery Place Plus was founded in 1978 by a group of industrious potters looking for a way to market their craft.  Now, a quarter of a century later,  Pottery Place Plus has evolved into an outlet for many different types of fine craft, including wood, metal, fiber and more.  Since the shop is owned and operated by the artists you can be sure of personal attention with each visit.
Our customers at  Pottery Place Plus represent a wide range of Spokane’s local art and fine craft buyers as well as tourists visiting the city.
Openings for new membership to Pottery Place Plus are available when one of our members takes a year leave of absence or resigns. The jury is composed of all permanent members who will view photos and samples of your work.
Stoneware is excellent for all oven baking because it conducts heat evenly and uniformly.  Your new stoneware pot will last a long time if you remember a few pointers such as the fact that stoneware does not like sudden and extreme temperature changes.   If the pot is to be put into a hot oven preheat with hot water, or put pot into cold oven and allow it to heat up with oven.   Never use stoneware on diret heat or under a broiler.   Stoneware is also excellent for serving hot or cold beverages, hot casseroles or soups. Remember to preheat any pot to which you are adding boiling liquid and have a pot at room temperature if using in microwave oven.   Stoneware is dishwasher safe and all glazes are food safe
