Punta Gorda Horsemans Association is a youth oriented club emphasizing sportsmanship, community service and youth character development through equestrian events of all kinds. Whether it's Hunter/Jumper, Barrel Racing, English or Western Pleasure all types of riders are welcomed. Join us and make a difference in young lives while making some wonderful memories too.
The following announcements are VERY IMPORTANT to you if you are competing for year end awards!!!
*You must be a member, paid the fee to ride a nominated or sponsored horse at least 5 times in the same class or division and have 15 volunteer hours to be eligible for year end awards.
**Awards Wish Lists must be returned by April 26, 2008 or a prize will be chosen for you. All Awards are subject to year end final budget.
***The 07/08 Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 5-9pm at the Charlotte Cultural Center. Tickets go on sale in April. See your April Punta Gorda Horsemans Association Newsletter for more information.
****Awards winners may pick up their prizes at the Awards Banquet with a paid admission. No prizes will be delivered on the night of the banquet except to paid attendees. If you are not in attendance on the evening of the banquet you may pick up your awards with a scheduled appointment after the banquet. Contact the director of your dicipline to make the arrangements.
