What's the secret behind the great taste at Red's Lobster Pot Restaurant Point Pleasant Beach? It's simple... fresh Seafood! Most of which comes from local boats, or from owner/fisherman Red himself. This Jersey Shore secret spot was opened in 1993 by Red's wife and daughter, Louise and Kitty.
Red's Lobster Pot Restaurant has a cozy 12 table full service restaurant inside. Outside, there is a beautiful deck overlooking the Manasquan River and the mouth of the inland waterway, with a lighter fare menu and counter service. Most people find themselves appetizing on grilled clams and cajun peel-n-eat shrimp on the outside deck, while they wait for a table inside.
The height of Summer can be best experienced by an evening at Red's Lobster Pot Restaurant. Watching fishing boats pass by as the sun sets, munching on steamed lobster and raw oysters...it is really the most enjoyable way to see why Red's has been called a Jersey Shore Summer right of passage. (Hint: If you'd like to have our great food, without the crowds, come in the off-season. We're open March - October!)
