Reen's Bed and Breakfast is a comfortable homey alternative to a hotel. Located in northwest Rochester's Maplewood Neighborhood, New York, in the United States, it is just three miles north of downtown and four miles south of Lake Ontario. Easy access to expressways means it's minutes from anywhere in New York.
The Murphy family was the first to live in Reen's Bed & Breakfast in 1910. Rose, Irene and Calissa, three of the six Murphy children, lovingly cared for their home for sixty years. The Julians and the Clarks were residence in the seventies and eighties. Reen has lived here since 1989.
Reen's Bed & Breakfast has two porches, two sitting rooms with fireplaces and beamed ceilings and two oak staircases. Leaded windows, hardwood floors, two original bathrooms with footed tubs, a powder room, unpainted oak woodwork galore and a stained glass window.
Hostess Irene Zaremski-Saltrelli, opened Reen's Bed & Breakfast in 2004.
The three guest rooms are named after the kid who grew up there, Raymond's Room with a queen size bed, Jewel's Room with two double beds and Shannon's Room with a double bed and a twin on the sleeping porch.
