We are a private guesthouse (bed & breakfast) located in a charming villa in the bay of Guanabara, a central, historical and residential neighbourhood which is considered as one of the safest and most peaceful places of Rio.

Excellently situated between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and the city centre, Rio Bay Guesthouse is also close to some of Rio's most important shopping malls, concert halls, bars, restaurants, cinema's and museums, some of which are at walking distance and others within easy reach by taxi or bus which stop just around the corner.

When you step out of our door to the waterfront, you will enjoy breath taking views over the City, the Christ statue and the Sugar Loaf. The sunsets here are exceptional!
