River Oaks Square Arts Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, is housed in a family home donated by the Bolton family to be used as an art gallery and all things relating to the arts. After many years spent restoring this historic home, our arts center opened its doors to the public in 1984, and now features two buildings that are connected by a unique walk-way. The Studio Annex Building at River Oaks Square Arts Center consists of 25 studios, 3 art galleries an Arts Academy and offers interesting rental space, and the Bolton home includes 7 studios, a Gift shop and administrative offices. At River Oaks Square Arts Center we are committed to provide an outlet for Arts and Crafts and a venue for exhibiting works of art.
