French doors open into a quiet and cozy self-contained suite with sleeping, living and dining area, kitchenette, and private bath.

The decor combines arts & crafts era ambiance with country French charm and the interior is appointed in a richly hued motif with warm wood trim, custom faux finishing and stenciling, multi-light windows, and sumptuous furnishings and linens. 

At  Rose Court Cottage we take dietary issues  into consideration in  preparation of breakfast. Whether it be vegan, low carb, heart smart, lactose or wheat free, we strive to accommodate guests' preferences by preparing delicious and innovative fare.  A breakfast tray and newspaper are delivered to guests each morning.

Rose Court Cottage on the corner of Thirteenth and H Streets, is notable in Arcata for its charm and garden.  We have lovingly renovated our Tudor home inside and out and designed landscaping in the English cottage garden style.  Our residence was featured on Home and Garden Television’s Old Homes Restored program in 2002 and has been a garden tour favorite of the Humboldt Botanical Garden Society on three occasions since 1997.
