Kitchenette with host laundry has microwave, fridge, small appliances and snacks. Top quality furnishings, cotton linen, and selection of NZ and Australian artwork.

Champagne Room with Ensuite - Look out, from all windows in this spacious and charming room, on to our wonderful and colourful gardens of both native and exotic plantings. TV and DVD in room. Southwards Car Museum
Australasia's largest and very comprehensive collection of vintage vehicles dating from 1895. The collection includes; traction engines, motorcycles, cycles and a wide range of stationary engines, working models, early motoring curios and a model railway.


Golfing
In January 2002 Tiger Woods played the 'New Zealand Open' golf tournament at our local golf course, just three kilometers from ROSETTA HOUSE in Paraparaumu. You too can relax with us and enjoy the wonderful golf courses on the beautiful Kapiti Coast on your golfing vacation. Raumati (just 2 minutes south of town) is a lovely seaside village set in the countryside amid beautiful landscapes and forest covered hills. The beach is endless and the sunsets silhouetting Kapiti and the South Islands are magnificent. We enjoy sunny weather - the climate is mild and warm most of the year round.

Scenic Flights
Explore the Kapiti Coast & surrounding areas by air in either a helicopter or vintage 'Tiger Moth' aeroplane. These flights are able to be booked for you by ROSETTA HOUSE prior to your arrival.

Nga Manu Nature Reserve offers you a unique opportunity to have a hands on experience related to the natural history of New Zealand. We hope that by visiting the Reserve you will gain an understanding of the ecosystems by viewing examples of plants and animals within the different habitats that make up the Reserves ecosystems. The reserve offers you an opportunity to see a diverse range of our native flora and fauna in just one visit. Most visitors would spend approximately 1-1.5 hours at the reserve. All pathways are easily walked and there's adequate seating around the reserve.
