Welcome to Rotary Club, Redondo Club, United States. The Rotary Club of Redondo Beach meets Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m., upstairs in the Blue Water Grill overlooking King Harbor.
The Redondo Beach Rotary Club was chartered in December 22, 1924 and is the 756th Rotary Club worldwide to be organized. Ours is one of 46 Clubs in Rotary International District 5280 in the Los Angeles metropolitan region. Our Club has about 75 active members.
Our Club is involved in many local Community and International Service Projects. We also contribute to the leadership of District 5280 with four past-district governors and the 2008-09 district governor-nominee. We won 16 Service Awards at the recent District 5280 Annual Conference.
Our Club engages in a wide variety of vocational and community service activities in Redondo Beach, and international projects worldwide promoting goodwill and understanding. These are some of the projects that we support: * Aid to local charities * AYSO Soccer Region 34 * FIJI Scabies Control Project
* LIFT Program Continuation - Playground equipment for disabled children attending Alta Vista School
* Holiday Season Cheers for Children - Disabled children program * Meals on Wheels with the Salvation Army * Annual Casino Night Fundraiser * Mums for Mammograms Fund Raising
* Teacher Mini-Grant Program * Adopt-a-Family Program, to name but a few.
