Welcome to Ruthern Valley in North Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Nestled in a beautiful wooded valley near Bodmin Moor, this is a holiday site that offers a selection of accommodation styles, plus a fully equipped, designated camping and caravan area ? you choose which you prefer.
If a holiday with a roof over your head is what you?re looking for then there is a choice from 8 timber cabins, 4 Cedar wood bungalows or 6 static holiday caravans, all fully equipped for self-catering. For the more adventurous, the touring caravan and camping area has 29 pitches, 6 of which have electric hook-up; there is designated campers? shower and toilet block ? with solar hot water - and with laundry facilities.
The eight lodges provide a good level of comfort and warmth throughout the year, with the advantage of a covered walkway and verandah. All lodges are two bed roomed, plus a sofa bed in the lounge, sleeping up to six. There is a well equipped kitchen/diner, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Guests will also find a comfortable lounge with colour television. Cots, high chairs are available on request.
The verandah has a picnic table which allows eating alfresco. All bed linen (duvets and pillows) is provided. One well behaved dog is welcome. Varying holiday lengths can be accommodated, including one week, fortnights (or longer), as well as short breaks and ten night stays.
Our 4 Cedar wood bungalows are well positioned with views across the valley site, they have ample surrounding space for eating outside (each has its own picnic table), sun-bathing or just relaxing with a good book.
