The Santa Rosa Symphony presents approximately 25 performances per year and has a strong youth music education component, including a youth orchestra, wind ensemble, preparatory orchestra, and a discovery orchestra.

Free concerts for youth at the SRS concert venue are augmented by in-school music appreciation programs offered by musicians and docents. Scholarship assistance is provided for youth whose talents would otherwise go unserved.
