We chose it as the Restaurant's name to signify a commitment to presenting the best of what America has to offer. Chef, proprietor and host Jack Mitchell selects products from farmers and artisans from across the country to create his versions of regional specialities. The menu at Sassafras Restaurant changes almost daily to take advantage of every seasonal offering available.
Located in the busy Santa Rosa Business Park, California, Sassafras is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner seven nights a week. We've recently finished a complete remodeling of the Restaurant, bar and terrace. Our regulars love the new look, and we're sure that you will too!
Sassafras has always been famous for our Harvest Fair award-winning wine list, featuring an ever-changing selection of specially tasted wines by the glass and bottle. In addition, we offer a full bar offering only premium liquors, cocktail classics and Sonoma County's best Happy Hour.
