Welcome to Sea Level Bed and Breakfast, Petersburg, Alaska. Sea Level Bed and Breakfast, a brand new deluxe Alaskan Bed and Breakfast on Wrangell Narrows in Petersburg, Alaska, was designed to look like a renovated warehouse. However, it is all new construction. The Bed and Breakfast portion is made up of two rooms, each with a private outside entrance. They can be rented separately or together using the connecting door. The large front room includes a sitting area, dining table, kitchen unit, bathroom with tub, and a king bed that can be configured into two twins. The smaller room has a queen size bed and bathroom with shower. Each room has a telephone, cable TV and VCR or DVD. Both rooms feature large picture windows for a close up view of seabirds, eagles, seals, sea lions and active boat traffic. Humpback and Killer Whales sometimes frolic right in front of this one of a kind lodging.
Located within easy walking distance of downtown Petersburg and one mile from either the Petersburg Airport or the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry Terminal. The refrigerator and cupboards of the front room are well stocked with delicious continental breakfast foods so that you can eat whenever you would like. If you have special dietary needs your host will do what she can to accommodate you. Breakfast will be served on a tray for those renting only the queen room.
Sea Level,Bed and Breakfast owner and host, Jean Ellis, was born, raised and lived her entire life in the Petersburg, Alaska area. Her maternal grandfather moved to Southeast Alaska from California 1908. Her childhood was spent at her parent’s floating logging camp. Her parents, sister, brother and other extended family live in Petersburg. Jean was part owner / chief cook and all around hand of a 52’ charter boat for many years. She enjoyed sharing southeast Alaska with visitors from all over the world. She is currently Chief of Staff for a member of the Alaska State House of Representatives. While she wants to respect your privacy, Jean will be happy to share information about Alaska including its natural beauty, it’s history and it’s politics.
