Shaw's Veterinary Hospital was established in Ballina, New South Wales, Australia, in 1978 by John Redmayne in a small shop at 1/53 Tamar Street, and was purchased by David and Anne in late 1979. As the practice grew it relocated to larger premises at 52 Tamar Street in 1981. The current Shaw's Veterinary Hospital in Ballina, New South Wales, is a purpose built small Animal Hospital built in 1994, and the second stage completed in November 2003.
Currently staffed by three full time veterinary surgeons, the aim of Shaw's Veterinary Hospital has always been to provide a full range of modern veterinary services in a comfortable and caring environment.
The practice also stocks a comprehensive range of quality veterinary supplies and pet accessories. The practice is well respected throughout the district for providing quality veterinary care to dogs, cats, cage birds, rabbits, rodents and wildlife.
Since establishment, Shaw's Veterinary Hospital in Ballina, New South Wales, has generously donated services to all local animal welfare groups and animal rescue organisations.
