Our staff is educated, experienced and enthusiastic, and like most of you love working in and enjoying our Gardens. Whether flowers, edibles, succulents, large Gardens, small yard or a patio full of pots we can help you create a beautiful and satisfying space.
Sheridan Gardens Nursery officially opened for business in 1952, but it's origins begin earlier, in 1938, when Grandpa "Pop" Waldron opened FT Waldron Nursery on Allen Road in Glendale. Over the years, Sheridan Gardens Nursery has seen many changes. In the 70's it acquired a second store which was located in Studio City. Sadly, the store was destroyed by fire in the early 80's, but fortunately, the company had recently acquired and opened another store, on Hollywood Way in Burbank, California, and the business continues to thrive.

Sheridan Gardens Nursery has a list which you can use as a starting point. On it you will find plants that bloom during every season of the year. Pick and choose your favorites from each seasonal group and you will be well on your way to a perpetually blooming Garden.
Perennials are no longer the new kid on the block, but they still offer the unexpected, surprising color and astonishing form, simply because there are so many distinctly different varieties. Perennials can transform a bed of more ordinary flowers. Try mixing them with annual bedding plants, herbs, small shrubs or roses. Leave space for them to grow and fill in with annual color.
Quite a few perennials flower off and on all year if the old flowers are promptly cut off. Those that don?t will decorate the Garden with handsome foliage for the rest of the summer and fall, and they will be back next spring, bigger and better than ever.
