Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in Shinjuku-ku, Japan, is an imperial garden that was established in 1906 on a private mansion that previously belonged to Lord Naito, and after the 2nd world war was opened to the public. Set on 144 acres of ground, our Gardens encapsulate three styles, each distinctly different and include Japanese Gardens, English landscaped Gardens and French formal garden. Facilities at our Gardens include a greenhouse, Restaurant, teahouse and wheelchairs are available at all entrances. Seasons at Shinjuki Gyoen National Garden are spectacular, from spring bringing stunning cherry blossoms, summer exuding a soft green glow, then seeing the beautiful color of autumn leaves and finally, winter arriving with it spectacular snowscapes.
