Welcome to The Ship Inn, North Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
Dating back to the early 18th century, The Ship Inn is a splendid old building that, as well as being found in the main road through the village, also lies close to the sandy beaches of St Austell Bay. Owned and personally run by a local couple Chris and Pauline Giles, this large establishment has plenty to offer both locals and visitors alike.
The interior of this charming old inn is as full of character as its age would suggest and, along with the original ceiling beams, many other features have withstood the test of time including several interesting over style fireplaces. The restaurant, on the first floor, is a particularly interesting room as, not only is it stylishly furnished and decorated, but the magnificent timbers of the roof can be seen. Outside too there is much for the inn's customers: to side and rear are well maintained gardens where, not only is there a bandstand, but also a play area for children.
For more formal dining, the restaurant at The Ship Inn, North Cornwall, England, United Kingdom is open from Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday lunchtime, is perfect. A well known and popular place for a celebration meal, the menus here are sure to excite even the most jaded palate.
