Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum located in Greenville, South Carolina display the history of Joe Jacksons' live and career.

In 2006, the home of Joe Jackson was dismantled, moved three miles, and reassembled on Field Street in the historic West End of Greenville, SC.

In July 2007, the house was deeded to the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library foundation.

On June 21, 2008, fans celebrated the dedication and grand opening of the Museum located in the house where Joe Jackson lived and died. The not-for-profit Museum displays records, artifacts, photographs, film and other items of interest associated with the historic life and baseball career of Shoeless Joe Jackson. A book collection related to baseball and its role in American culture is housed in Joe's former trophy room. Donations of books have been made by baseball enthusiasts from across America.

The new house number is 356, a reminder that Joe?s lifetime batting average was .356, the third highest in baseball history after Ty Cobb and Rogers Hornsby.

This summer we also celebrate:
* the 120th anniversary of Joe's birth;
* the 100th anniversary of Joe's marriage to Katherine Wynn ("Miss Kate");
* the 100th anniversary of the game during which Joe was tagged with the nickname ?Shoeless;? and
* the 100th anniversary of Joe?s first professional baseball contract.
