Silver Fish Lodge Saltwater Fly Fishing situated on the bay of Inhambane, estuary in Mongue, Maxixe Estuary, offers one of the few places in Mozambique where there is protected water for saltwater Fly-fishing. Even sailfish on the fly is available offshore, as the experienced Fishing Guides raise the fish with teasers, and you can present your fly, it's an incredibly rewarding experience. Limited fly equipment is available at the lodge so it's preferable to bring your own tackle come target species like Great Barracuda, some King Fish species, Queen Fish, and Queen Mackerel at various times of the year. You can also saltwater fly fish from the beach and catch some Kingies, and Wave Garrick in the waves, while Rock Salmon (Mangrove Snapper), Grunter and Rock Cod are the preferred species for the estuary.
