Welcome to Skagway Hostel, Skagway, Alaska. The Skagway Hostel is located in one of the historic homes built sometime between 1899 and 1901. It appears on the tax rolls in 1901 as a completed structure. Ask about its history and previous owners. It is located at 456 Third Avenue, which is just over a block from the historic district. The ferry terminal is about a ten minute walk, the airport terminal is less. Most buses will drop you at the door and the major bus company stops at a hotel two blocks away. We have a comfortable commons area, kitchen and laundry facilities. Fluent trail hiker is spoken here and the latest information on Chilkoot trail conditions is available.
