Smitty's Better Burger was started on March 6, 1956 by Paul & Ethel Smith, and it has been a stable location for Hampton locals to find great food at a great price.  Smitty's Better Burger drive-in has always had car hops servicing their drive in customers in Hampton, United States, it is a well known spot that the locals use to impress their visitors from out of town.   Folks who previously lived in Hampton will ask a friend passing through if they will them bring back food for them from Smitty's Better Burger.

The City of Hampton has designated Smitty's Better Burger as a Hampton landmark.

Paul Smith is still the owner and Smitty's Better Burger is run by the family, Susan and Steve.   They invite you to stop by and enjoy some of the best food and great service that you will ever find in Hampton and surrounding areas.

Smitty's Better Burger also offers a chicken menu.    All chicken dinners include fries, coleslaw and rolls.   All other dinners include fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies.    All burgers come with mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onion.    Take out orders are welcome.
