Located in Piazza San Giovanni, Soggiorno Battistero is ideal for those who wish to be absolutely central to the most important galleries and monuments that Florence has to offer. Most of our guest rooms overlook the piazza offering great views of the Duomo and Baptistery.
The Soggiorno Battistero, Bed and Breakfast is situated in an historic 14th century palazzo, the Orfanotrofio del Bigallo, whose name and insignia can still be seen at the entrance.
On the ground floor is the Museo del Bigallo, housing works by Ridolfo Ghirlandaio, Bernardo Daddi and others. Adjoining the palazzo is the Loggia del Bigallo, built between 1352-1358, with it's beautiful 14th and 15th century frescoes, sculptures and bas reliefs.
