South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club provide the people of Bracebridge and environs with affordable Golf and curling in Ontario, Canada.

Since inception, the curling club has been a frequent host of provincial zone and regional playdowns. The club provides area residents with a first class facility with leagues for all levels of competition to pass away the winter months.

The Golf course at South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club was designed by Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member R Robinson. The first 9 opened in 1974, and the second 9 holes followed five years later. While it is located in the heart of down town Bracebridge, Ontario, it features the majestic trees and granite out-croppings that are so prominent in Muskoka.

The course is challenging but fair. It measures just 6,427 yards from the tips, but its tree-lined, rolling fairways, challenging rough, and frequent elevation changes provide a great test of Golf for even the longest hitters. Over thirty-five years the course has established its reputation as the best Golf value in Muskoka.

At South Muskoka, you can expect a great test of your game and the best Golf value in Muskoka. The club has always paid special attention to our junior Golfing members, organizes a fantastic programme for them, and takes enormous pride in their accomplishments both on and off the Golf course. The Club has now sent 16 Bracebridge juniors on to college on Golf scholarships.

Working with the Golf Committee, Ron and his wife, Jennifer, organize a great selection of tournaments for Club members, as well as open and invitational events such as the Shier?s Two Man Better Ball and Tagwagi, our famous fall get together. The Club?s Men?s and Ladies? Night programmes are tremendously successful, thanks to Ron?s enthusiasm, dedication and creativity. These weekly events are open to guests.

The Pro Shop is fully stocked with everything Golfers will need. A platinum brand PING account, Ron?s shop also carries a variety of quality clubs, clothing and footwear, all very competitively priced. Our clubhouse is available for private functions and receptions however some restrictions are necessary during Golf season, May 1 to October 15
